Aikins, 32, a resident of Heritage Health Care Center, 1630 W 2nd, died Saturday 16, 200 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was born February 25, 1948 at Chanute, the daughter of Charles and Ivyonne Tripp Beck. She grew up in Chanute and graduated from Chanute High School in 1966. Following her marriage, she moved to Houston, Texas in 1992 she returned to Chanute. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God and VFW Post 1654 Auxiliary, Chanute. On September 4, 1966 she married Donnie Eugene Aikins at Chanute. They later divorced. Survivors includce a son, Donnie Aikins, Jr., Houston, Texas, a daughter, Roxanna Brock, Houston, Texas; her father, Charles Beck, Chanute; two brothers, Larry Joe Beck, Scottsdale, Arizona and Terry "Pete" Beck, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gibson-Koch-Friskel Chapel, with Rev. Bill Peters officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery on Eat 14th Street.
