He departed this life May 11, 1965. His parents were Thomas K. Shaw and Mazzie Boyd Shaw. He spent his entire life in this community. He was married to Nettie Jane Spaugh on March 22, 1931 at the home of Rev. George A. Watson. To this union no children were born. Little Matt as he was commonly referred to, was loved by all his friends and neighbors. He professed Christ as his Savior at Crawford about 8 years ago. He is survived by his wife Nettie, a sister Sarah Mae Shaller of Clarendon, Texas and a host of relatives and friends. Committal Fairview cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
