She was the youngest of seven children. She united with the Old German Baptist Church at the age of 14 of which she has been a firm believer ever since. She was united in marriage to Henry H. Sides on September 23, 1904. To this union waas born two daughters and four sons. All her children survive. They are Ella Collins, Elk City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Etta moffat, Durham, Oklahoma, Richard L. Sides, Drexel, missouri, Levi H. Sides, Durah, Oklahoma, Frank E. Sides, Fresno, California, and Samuel M. Sides, Durham, Oklahoma, 17 grand children and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother Alvie A. Huffman, Brookville, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her husband preceded her in death in October 1956. Mr. and Mrs. Sides and three children moved from Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Doxey, Oklahoma in 1915 and lived there until 1918, then moved to Durha, at which address she has lived ever since except for four months, spent in a hospital and rest home this winter at Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
