She moved with her parents to Wheeler, Texas in 1932. She was united in marriage to Luther A. Pierce December 26, 1934. In 1939 they moved to Roll, Oklahoma and from there moved to Reydon in 1940 and have resided there since that time. To this union were born two sons, John Alvin and Travis, and one daughter, Phyllis, of the home address. She was converted and united with the Baptist church at the age of 19 years and was a member of the First Baptist church of Reydon at the time of her death. She was one who showed Christ to her fellow man by her daily living. Those left to mourn Saretha's departure are her husband Luther, two sons, John Alvin, and Travis, one daughter, Phyllis of Reydon, Oklahoma; her mother, Mrs. stella Megee of Wheeler, Texas, three brothers John Megee of Allison, Texas, Ralph Megee of Wheeler, Texas, and Ernest Megee of Guthrie, four sisters, Sarah Goodman of Wellston, Oklahoma, Myrtle Megee of Oklahoma City, and Wanda Bettis of Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends.
