He was born in Greenwood County, Kansas on October 30, 1879 and passed away November 15, 1965 in the Hensley Rest Home in Sayre, Oklahoma. Mr. McKean, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. McKean came to the Durham community 52 years ago, where he was a retired farmer and trucker. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Oren (Ellen) Worley of Atascerdo, California, Mrs. Robert Burns, Pampa, Texas and 3 sons, Ralph McKean, of Durham, Oklahoma, Wayne of Pampa, Texas and Dale of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Interment will be in the Fairview cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son in charge of arrangements. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
