October 5, 1886 she was married to Solon R. Steere in Boliet, Kansas and later they moved to Eagle City, Oklahoma then in 1926 they moved to Cheyenne where she made her home until the past few years when she was in the Hobart Nursing Home. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 sister. She was a member of the First Baptist church since childhood. Survivors are 1 daughter, Mrs. Bessie Woodcock, LeeRoy, Kansas, Two sons, Thomas Harold Steere, Sayre, Oklahoma, Scott Steeere of Cheyenne; 10 grandchildren: 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Host of other relatives and friends. Services were Saturday, February 20, 1965 at 2:30 p.m at the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Interment was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills Coiunty, Oklahoma with the Rose chapel Funeral Service in charge of arrangements. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
