Services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Crawford School with Rev. Clyde Denney and Rev. Lloyd Martin officiating. Born October 29, 1895, in Missouri. Mr. Beals came to eastern Oklahoma in 1901 and to Roger Mills County in 1927. He was married July 9, 1919, to Henrietta Garrison at Cheyenne. Survivors are his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Lacey, Durham, Mrs. Lois Sprowls, Cheyenne, and Mrs. Berniece Smith of Pampa, Texas; four sons, Jim, Harold and Ray of Strong City, and Lloyd of Sweetwater; one brother, Abe of Fayettville, West Virginia; five sisters, Lula Proffitt of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Mrs. Ettaa Whitehouse of Aberdeen, Washington, Nora long of Peoninia, Colorado, Dora Walarven of Libby, Montana and Emma Garsher of Grand Junction, Colorao; 21 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Committal was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
