Allen, 62, was born March 28, 1924 at Clovis, New Mexico to Rufus W. and Jennie Bell Allen. He passed from this life April 18, 1986 in Liberal, Kansas. Clovis served his country by joining the Navy at seventeen years of age, during World War II, staying in the service until 1946. His mother and four brothers preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife, Joann, of the home and six step children. Three daughters; Patricia Micheals of Hutchens, KS; Janell Stump and Bobbie Allen of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; his father, Rufus W. Allen of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one brother, Jack Allen of Crawford, Oklahoma; four sisters, Meadow Bell Smith of New Mexico; Tennie Dale Campbell, Ellen Daniels and Jimmie Lou Wilmoth of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Also twenty-six nieces and nephews. Funeral services was conducted on Monday, april 21, 1986 at 2:30 p.m. at the Miller Chapel in Libersl, Kansas. Interment was at the Liberal Cemetery, witht the Military Rites. Pallbearers were Charles Johnson, Ricky Allen, Royce Allen, David Maxell, Cliff Sandord, and Jim Burleson.
