Johnson, former residents of Strong City, Oklahoma were killed insltantly last Friday morning, October 22, 1954 in an auto accident 35 miles east of Amarillo, Texas on U.S. Highway 66. They were en route to Amarillo from their home in Elk City and were towing a station wagon when they collided with another car. One occupant of the other car, a woman, was also killed instantly and the other occupant, a man, died later. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were each 45 years of age and are survived by one daughter, in addition to numerous other relatives, Mrs. Johnson was a sister to Robert Cogburn and Mrs. M.C. Trammell, both of Cheyenne. A large number of freinds from Strong City and Cheyenne went to Elk City Sunday afternoon for the funeral services. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
