Services were conduted by the pastor, Rev. Herman Ledford, assisted by Rev. J.L. Wilkerson of Erick, formerly of Cheyenne. Judson Cunningham passed away Thursday February 11, 1965 after an illness of one day. He was born March 20, 1889. He moved to Cheyenne in 1894 and has resided here since. In 1919 he was married to Sylvia Bice, who survives him. Other immediate survivors are his two stepchildren, Gladys Pear (Mrs. Jimmie) Edwards of Borger, Texas and Allen Bice of California both of whom were present for the funeral services. Other survivors are nephews and nieces. Judson Cunningham was truly a pioneer. He had been a member of the Baptist church for more than fifty years. He had also been a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge for more than half a century. Judson Cunningham had served Roger Mills County as a public official for forty years which is a sullogy to his efficiency and the respect people had for him. He was laid to rest in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyennr, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma after final services by the Odd Fellows, Funeral arrangements were by Scroggins and Son.
