Mr. Anderson had been suffering for some time with a cancer on his face. There was a specialist from Chicago to see him a few days before he died but to no avail. Mr. Anderson was one of the leading citizens of Streeter and by his death, the community has suffered an irreparable loss and his family's loving husband and father. Day County Progress, May 9, 1907
