Guymon, was born June 30, 1919, at Elk City, Oklahoma and departed this life November 2, 1946, at the age of 27 years, four months and three days. She moved with her mother, to the Cheyenne community in 1937 and was a graduate of the Cheyenne High School. Melba was married to Lloyd Lee Martin July 2, 1939. To this union was born one son, Lee Wayne Martin, who preceded his mother in death only a few days. She leaves to mourn her departure from this life, her husband, Lloyd Lee Martin, Cheyenne; her mother Mrs. Maude Guymon, Elk City, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Davison of Vallejo, California; one brother, Efton Guymon of Lodi, California and other relatives and a host of friends. Her father, C.E. Guymon and one sister, Arnold Leatrice Guymon, preceded her in death. Melba was a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was a Christian woman of Baptist faith.
