My great grandparents, Martin W. Saling and Lulea Ellen Caswell and 7 of their children were living in Bar X Twp 03 May 1910. I believe my grandmother, Nellie Florence Saling was also born here on 05 Nov 1910. Martin's brother, Andrew J. Saling and his wife Darthenia and their 8 children were also in Bar X Twp at this same time. In Dewey Twp, Martin's older brother, James D. Saling and his wife Sarah, their 3 children, and Martin's father, James L. Saling, were living in 1910. Another brother, Reuben A. Saling, his wife, Mattie L., their daughter and his three step children were living in Dewey Twp. What records would be available for Bar X and Dewey Twps for this time period - such as birth, death, land, tax, genealogical journals, church, newspapers. My g-g grandfather, James L. Saling, was said to be a circuit riding preacher. I am hoping that the presence of 32 members of the Saling family in this area of Roger Mills County in 1910 would leave some records for me to search out. Can anyone help?
