A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, officiated by Ray Smart. Burial will be at Dempsey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel funeral Service. Maurice Leon "Scotty" Scott was born May 31, 1910, to Dora and Walter Scott in Croft, Kansas and died Wednesday November 21, 2001 in Worland, Wyoming at the age of 91. When Scotty was a baby he traaveled with his family by covered wagon from Kansas to Cheyenne, Wyoming. He received his schooling in Diamondville, Wyoming. He owned the Buffalo River Rach in Moran, Wyoming near Jackson Hole. He helped build the ski life at Jackson Hole. He married Ellen Joan Mong December 15, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Scotty was a self-taught musician on the banjo, violin, guitar and harp. He was a member of the local Union #12 and was a member of the Grace Fellowhip Church at Greybull, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include wife Joan Scott of Greybull, Wyoming; one son, Paul Sanders and wife Kari of Pueblo, Colorado; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren
