Spencer, 311 North Broadway, Sayre, Oklahoma, who died January 22, 1970 at Baptist Memorial hospital, Oklahoma City, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel. She was born December 4, 1891 at Albert Lee, Minnesota. She was married to Bert Spencer May 3, 1911 at Lewistowsn, Montana. They farmed on the homestead near Lewistown for three years and spent the next three years at a New Coal mining camp at Roundup, Montana. They moved to Western Oklahoma in 1917 and settled in the Sunny Point community where they resided until May 1969, when they moved to Sayre. She was a charter member of the first Sunny Point Home Demonstration club, organized in 1934. Survivors are her husband, Bert Spencer of the home in Sayre a sister, Mrs. Avanelle Sullivan, Eastside, Oregon; one niece, Mrs. Golda Jadin, Eastside, Oregon, and a number of great nieces and nephews.
