Fariss Weaver of Snyder, assisted by Rev. D.V. Chedester, officiating. Mrs. Patton died July 11, 1946 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.H. Cavener, after being critically ill for five months. She is survived by her husband, J.E. Patton, of Sayre, two daughters, Mrs. Cavener of Grimes, Mrs. Mary Pilger, of Downey, Cazifornia, two sons, Allen Patton of Sayre and Tom Patton of McFarand, California,. seven grandchildren and four brothers, O.K. Moyers, Cheyenne, Wyoming, H.L. Moyers, Gainsville, Texas, W.N. Moyers, El Ddorado, Oklahoma, and A.H. Moyers, Post, Texas. Committal was in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery, Sayre, Beckham County, Oklahoma.
