He was retired from Motive Parts Warehouse in 1986, where he was employed for 44 years, was a member of Cavanaugh United Methodist Church. No public viewing. Funeral service were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Cavanaugh United Methodist Church with a private family interment in Muskogee, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; three daughters, Alecea Sallee of Tulsa, Diana Hon of Southlake, Texas, aand Jana Cherry of Conway; one son, Randy Carter of Cheyenne; one sister, Marilyn Murphy of Palm Harbor, Florida; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
