He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Bird. Lorell was converted at the Zybach church at the age of eleven and was baptized into the Reydon Baptist church at he age of fifteen. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother and father, three brothers and five sisters who are: C.E. Bird, Knox City, Texas; O.M. Bird, Quinlan, Texas; Mrs. Effie Milner, Allison, Texas; Mrs. Clara Belle Hickey, Allison, Texas; Mrs. Lorene Hickey, Sanoma, California; Mrs. Anna Lou Scrivner, Reydon, Oklahoma, Juretta and D.W. Jr. at home. All were present at the funeral but Lorene Hickey. Services were conducted at Reydon Thursday, October 7, 1937 by Bro. Wood of Wheeler, Texas. Burial was at White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County,Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 10-14-1937
