Ted Cox preaching the sermon. Burial was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroiggins Funeral Home of this city. Mr. Ivie was born November 29, 1869 and died at his home in Cheyenne on November 26, 1950. Isaac Lemuell Ivie was born November 29, 1869 in Litttle Rock, Arkansas and departed this life November 26, 1950 at his home in Cheyenne. Mr. Ivie came to Roger Mills county in 1899 an homesteaded 7 miles south of Cheyenne where he lived until a few years ago when he moved to Cheyenne. He was married to Ida Verona Bell Batchelor in 1892 at Ardmore, Oklahoma. To this union ten children were born. His wife preceded him in death in 1948. Mr. Ivie was a typical pioneer a devoted husband and father, a good neighbor and loyal friends. He is survived by ten children Mrs. Alta Honeycutt, Ethel B. Ivie, Mrs. Elsie Skinner, Mrs. Myrtle Bell McDaniel, Endt S. Ivie, Clyde and Earl Ivie, Melton Ivie, Archie and Lisle, 31 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
