Son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Burns, born in Indian Territory east of Marlow, Oklahoma. He was married to Dolphie Graham on October 17, 1915. To this union was born five children, three daughters, Lois Kepley, Porland, Oregon, Melba Ruth Boswell, Strong City, Oklahoma. One daughter Hazel preceded him in death. Two sons, Melvin Burns, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Reymond Burns, Eureka, California. He leaves behind eight grandchildren of which threed are adopted, four brothers, two sisters, and one has preceded him in death, and a host of other relatives and friends. He came to Roger Mills County in 1921 and has lived close to Strong City during this time. He gave his heart to the Lorrd during his illness. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
