D.L. Heath, pastor of the Reydon Assembly of God church officfiating. Mrs. Widener died at St. Anthony hospital, Oklahoma City at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 1950 following a brief illness. She was born March 23, 1919 at Durham, and has lived near there her entire life. On June 4, 1933, she was united in marriage to Norman C. Widener at Sayre. Mrs. Widener was a lifetime member of the Reydon Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband, Norman C. Widener; three daughters Elaine, Sharon, and Pauline, all of the home address, two sons, Clifford and Glen, also of the home address; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Timmons, Mangum, Mrs. Lucille Link of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Georgia Cockrell, of Durham; four brothers, Virgil and Albert Lewis both of Durham, Arthur of Amarillo and Carl of Reydon. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery near Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins Funeral Home, Cheyenne, in charge of arrangements. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 13-Apr-1950
