Theo "Doc" Benson and assisted by Rev. Del Watkins and Rev. Elbert Shumakeer. Burial will be in Sayre-Doxey cemetery under thew direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre. Sarah Irene Turner was born October 5, 1909 in Sayre to Lida and Frederick Parker Livingston and died Sunday October 1, 2006 at Sayre at the age of 96. Sarah attended Sayre schools and was married to Jack Turner at Cheyenne, Oklahoma on January 12, 1928. They moved to the Delhi community to make their home. She was a member of the Sayre United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and six brothers. Survivors incfude one daughter, Marjorie Wilhelm of Sayre, one son, Jack Turner of Oklahoma City; one sister Mary Elizabeth Norton of Cortez, Colorado; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
