She was the daughter of Leon and Addie Allen. She departed this life after an extended illness on June 27, 1975 in Elk Grove, Californa while making her home with a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Phillips. She was a member of the Eastern star and Rebakahs. On April 27, 1923, she was united in marriage to Porter Kimzey. To this union one son was born, Steele Kimzey. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Porter and two brothers. Survivors include one son Steele Kimzey, and a grandson Ted Kimzey of Strong City, two sisters, Edna Conner, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Bernice Phillips of Elk Grove, California, two brothers, Paul Allen, Strong City, Oklahoma and Ruben Allen of Mantica, California, one sister-in-law, Lola Allen, Payette, Idaho. A number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Services were held in the Strong City Baptist church on July 1, 1975, with Rev. Lloyd Martin officiating.
