Beadle who lived alone 4 l/2 miles up the Washita from Cheyenne was found dead in his bed Wednesday, January 10, 1923 by Merlin Cross. From the condition of the body Dr. Cross, who was called judged Mr. Beadle had been dead since Sundday January 5, 1923. His four sons and two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Duncan of Erick and Mrs. Callie Ousley of Amarillo were hastily summoned. The body was laid to rest in Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, Friday, January 12, 1923. Mr. Beadle was probably 70 years old. Elk City News, 18-Jan-1923
