Alexander at the Nazarene church on Tuesday afternoon, with W.R. McClure in charge of the rites. Mr. Alexander died at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Celia Alexander, Monday after a lingering illness. He was born September 7, 1849, in Tennessee and died at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 23 days. He has made his home here for some time with his son. "Uncle Alex" Alexander who preceded him in death several months ago. Interment was made in the Erick cemetery, Erick, Beckham County, Oklahoma with Fatheree Funeral Home in charge.
