Allen the son of Robert Thomas and Libby Allen was born February 17, 1901 in Rich Hill, Missouri and departed this life at his home in Leedey August 17, 1966 at the age of 65 years and 6 months. He came to Oklahoma with his parents at the age of three and lived on the farm west of Leedey until four months ago. He was married to Bernice Lois Walker, October 15, 1930, and to this union was born one son. He is survived by his wife, Bernice of the home; one son, Walker; daughter-in-law, Wanda and three grandsons, Gregg, Gary and Philip all of Leedey. Three sisters Jeanetta Ward of Leedey, Anna Shelton of Holbart and his twin sister, Edna Welty west of Leedey. His parents, four brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Eben was a good husband and father, a good neighbor and was a faithful attender in the house of the Lord.
