Mr. Parks grew up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and came to Cheyenne in 1944. He was married to Flora Mae Andrews on June 3, 1944 in Sayre, Oklahoma. They made their home in Cheyenne. Hed was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired. Survivors include his wife of the home andf 1 sister-in-law, Willene Parks of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; 1 niece Baarbara Graham of Norway; and 1 nephew, Don Parks of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Services were conducted by A.L. Martin and Aubrey Cowan on Tuesday, March 16, 1982 at 3:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne with burial following in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were Rollin Reimer, Joe Whitson, Gene Whitson, Wayne Parkhurst, Jodie Archer and Eddie Tom Lakey. Arrangements by Rose Chapel Funeral Services of Cheyenne.
