Funeral services were held on March 17, 1982 at the Moorewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was born August 13, 1901, east of Moorewood, and she lived in the Moorewood area all her life. She was married to Ellis X. Smith on July 4, 1922 and hed preceded her in death on May 23, 1970. Survivors include 2 sons; Shannon Smith of Hammon and Joe Smith of Leedey; one daughter, Barbara Nestler of Cheyenne; 5 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Lettie Timple, and Jo Sketchley of Mansfield, Texas; Fern Mills of San Bernadino, California, Clara Eaton, Weatherford and Flossied Vignal of Hammon.
