The Rev. Brad Foster, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Northlawn Memoriaal Gardens. Mrs. Jones died Wednesday, June 7, 2006. Mrs. Jones was born June 28, 1929, in Roy, New Mexico to James E. and Maxie (Kirk) Cline. She graduated from high school in 1948. She married her best friend and love of her life, W.R. Jones, on April 5, 1948, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Mrs. Jones worked as a dietician for Memorial Hospital and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones enjoyed local sports and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Jackson. Survivors include her husband, W.R. Jones; one daughter, Fran and Jim Hutcherson, of Dumas; three sons, W.R. Jr. and Sue Jones of Fort Worth, Wayne Jones of Dumas and Tommy and Marci Jones of Amarillo; one aunt, Eva Wilson, of Dumas; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
