Surnames: Wells Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5YB.2ACE/2760 Message Board Post: Parthnie Wells, an old and highly respected Christina lady, living five miles northeast of Rankin, died April 12, 1907, at the home of her son William Wells, of heart failure and infirmities due to old age. Mrs. Wells was born in Bath County, Kentucky, July 22, 1825. She was united in marriage to Robert Wells nine children were born to bless their union, eight of whom are left mourn her death. She united with the Christian church in 1871 and lived a consistent member of the same until it pleased the Lord to call her home, she had lived to do his bidding and was only waiting when the summon came. The funeral service was conducted by Exhorter A.B. ?? after which the remains were laid to rest in the Rankin (now White Rose) Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
