Interment was made in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. A large crowd of relatives and friends of the family from Cheyenne, Sstrong City, Midway and Sayre were present at the funeral to pay last respect to one who had lived many years in the county. Mrs. Anderson and her husband who was known as "Uncle Johnnie" came to Roger Mills county at the opening and lived for many years on a farm near old Redmoon. Here they reared a large family and platyed an important part in the early history of the county. Mrs Anderson who was past 82 years of age had been a member of the Metthodist church for over fifty years. She was known as a good wife and mother. Surviving Mrs. Anderson are her sons, Fayette of Cheyenne, Roscoe and Warren of Putnam, Oklahoma, and George of Midway; her daughters, Mrs. Sam Berry, Cheyenne, Mrs. Ocie Cotter, Foss, and Mrs. Bill Williams of New Mexico, besides grandchildren and other relatives. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 24-May-1934 Mrs. Eva Anderson who has been making her home in Ada for the last year was in Cheyenne Sunday to attend the funeral of Mrs. J.A. Anderson.
