He departed this life January 19, 1937. He was married to Miss Catherine Phyllis, March 27, 1888. To this union was born five children. His wife and four children preceded him in death. He was remarried to Miss Catherine Campbell April 24, 1932. He was converted at an early age and received the baptism at an Amarillo camp meeting in 1930, and later joined the Assembly of God church at Sweetwater, Oklahoma. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Easterling, of Reydon; four grandchildren, Betty Jo, Frances Jean and James Thurmond Easterling of Reydon, Oklahoma and Bessie Mildred Hill of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God church at 2o'clock Thursday, January 21, 1937. Interment was made at the Mulberry cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with the Fatheree Funeral home of Reydon in charge.
