Funeral services were held in the Fairview Baptist church November 8, 1966 with Rev. Jess Rowley, officiating minister. Born September 27, 1879 in Kansas City, Missouri, he came to Roger Mills County in 1900 and settled in the Cheyenne area. Survivors are two sons, Lee of Cheyenne; Ray of Elk City; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Coffey of Sweetwater. Interment was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Marin Funeral Home in charge. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
