We can take a picture of the gravestone and wonderfully kept Berlin Cemetery if you would like that done and sent to you on email (if you can receive photos)....You may let us know. I have contacted the caretaker of the Berlin Cemetery to see if he has any additional information. He has a friend who is in his 70's and graduated from Doxey HS -- I am hoping he may remember Viola....I gathered that the maiden name is Viola Jardon is what you are thinking? Because Doxey and Berlin are closer to Sayre and Sayre is in Beckham County, you may find out more like in a probate/will at the Court Clerk's office in Beckham County Court House...Their phone is 580-928-3330 and additonal information may be found on their website.. I will be in touch with any info that we might find. Please write to Tdale55@aol.com and we will be glad to help---The caretaker of the cemetery at Berlin just called and he talked to a fellow who graduated about the same time as Viola but her name did not ring a bell...So Clifford is going to the Funeral Home on Tuesday and look at their records for you to see who made the arrangements and see if there is any other pertinent info for you there. Will be back to you Tuesday evening or Wednesday... If you don't hear from us in a week, please write to me once again as they sometimes get lost in a shuffle of "stuff" around here. 2. Hi Karl, ? ?I noticed your query listed after our lady who types all of the obituaries for the county's website. It is great that she was able to get this one listed for your ancestor. I looked in our county's cemetery book and the Berlin History Book and she is listed as being buried there in the Berlin Cemetery; a cemetery that is really well kept and has some records available. I will call CLifford and see if he happens to have anything additional. This obituary appeared in the Sayre paper which is the town nearest Berlin in Roger Mills COunty. I mention this because you may get some additonal help from Beckham County (Sayre is the County Seat) I will be glad to go to Berlin and take a picture of the cemetery and the gravestone and email to you (If you are able to receive photos this way). You can let me know. Since she passed at Sayre, they may have a probate/will in their Court Clerk's office which would be listed on the Beckham County, Oklahoma website. I noticed she was reared near Doxey, which is also nearer to Sayre than to Roger MIlls County. I hope this will help you and if there is something additional that we can help you--just write us at Tdale55@aol.com and we will do our best to help.
