Mrs. William King officiated. Mrs. Beierschmitt was born in Weirttenburg, Germany, June 23, 1863, and died Monday, Arpil l, 1957, at the age of 93 years, nine months and eight days, after and illness of several weeks. She was married to Henry Beierschmit in Brooklyn, New York in 1886 and they came to Roger Mills county and settled in the Dempsey community in 1901. She moved to the Elk City area twelve years ago. She was a member of the First Christian church. Survivors include two sons, Henry L. of Oklahoma City, and William H. of Elk City, four grandxchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were five sons, two daughters and her husband. Burial was in the Dempsey cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Savage Funeral Home directing arrangements. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. in the Cheyenne Methodist church with Rev. Lemuel Summers officiating. Commital was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. She was an active member of the Reydon Order of the Eastern Star living the lessons, daily, taught by the beautiful order. During her long illness she continued to have a cheerful disposition with a smile for everyone, always her thoughts were for the concern of her loved ones and friends rather than her constant pain. She was united in marriage to Fred Barker of Reydon, May 20, 1933, at Sayre, and they lived in the Reydon community most of their married life. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, one brother and one sister. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Fred of Phoenix, Arizona, one daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arley Baird of Gypsum, Kansas; six grandchildren, David, Betty, Freddie, Martha and Edward of Gypsum, Kansas and Ruby of Lampac, California; one brother, Richard of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Olo Clay of Muskogee and Mrs. Jennie Scoggins of Kenefic, Oklahoma, and a host of relatives and friends. Funeraal services were held on Thursday afternoon, July 18, 1957 in the community building with Rev. Lynn Heard assisted by Rev. H. Woodard, officiating. I wanted to let the list members know of the passing of my father-in-law, Freeman Clyde "Pete" Seago. Although I do not have a completed obituary as of this posting, below is some information that may be of interest to some. ===== Freeman Clyde (F.C.) ³Pete² Seago was born April 8, 1912, in Crawford, Roger Mills Co., Okla., to Haston Seago and Hannah Virginia ³Jennie² Coon Seago, and passed away April 19, 2002, at his Tyler, Texas, home at the age of 90 years and 11 days. Pete attended Cheyenne High School in Cheyenne, Okla. He married Lorraine Louise Burns on June 28, 1930, in Sayre, Okla. Pete worked in the family shoe repair store in Cheyenne for many years before moving his family to Tulsa, Okla., in 1940, then to Tyler, Texas, in 1963. Pete worked as a sales representative for Potts-Longhorn Wholesale Leather Co. after leaving Cheyenne and until his retirement. Pete is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lorraine Burns Seago; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Kay Seago Mansheim and Frank Mansheim; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Joe Seago and Elizabeth Bentley "Libby" Seago; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Kris Seago and Donna Goehring Seago; one granddaughter, Lisa Michelle Seago Hamm, and husband, Wesley Huston Hamm; two step-grandsons, Jerry Dale Mansheim and Gary Mansheim; and two great-grandsons, Jack Hamm and Matthew Huston Hamm. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Michael Sean Seago. Pete was a member of the University Church of Christ, Tyler, Texas. Arrangements are pending at this time.

He was married to Pearlie Mae Ladd on December 24, 1939 in Yukon. He worked for the Oklahoma State Highway Department for three years before leaving to serve his country in the South Pacific during World War II. He moved his family to Moore County in 1947 where he was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company. He retired from Phillips in 1967 and moved to Van Horn, Texas where he was employed by the Elcor Chemical plant. He and his wife returned to Dumas in 1979. He has been a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was a past Worth Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dumas. Survivors include his wife, Pearlie of the home; one daughter, Patty Stallions and husband Gary of Keller, Texas; one son, George R.
