She was married to T.C. Dick December 24, 1874. Ten children were born to this union, two of whom preceded her to the spirit world. Eight, three sons and five daughters with the husband are left to lament the loss of a devoted wife and mother. The body was brought to her home five miles south of here, Thursday, and Friday at twelve o'clock was taaken to the Union Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma where funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. Smith after which she was laid to rest to await the resurrection morn. After a long, busy and useful life, she died as she had lived-honored, trusted and loved. She reared her own monument while she lived in the hearts of all who kenw her. Her life was completed. Its work all done and well done constitues completion. Her christian life was beautiful from its beginning to its close and through all the vicissitudes and sorrows that she met in the way her faith in God never waved. But she has left us the grace hides from our sight all that is moral of a true and nobel woman. Well may her husband and children, who long for her with unutterable longing long for a wife's gentle and loving sympathy and a mother's counsel and adive-cherish her memory as a precious legacy, and wfe fain would say a word of comfort to the stricken ones, we can but let our tears flow in sympanthy with theirs and point them to the promise, "at eventide it shall be light."
