Wright was born August 15, 1885 in the state of Kansas and passed away Saturday night July 2, 1960 in an Elk City hospital after an illness of three weeks at the age of 74 years 10 months and 17 days. On October 17, 1902 she was united in marriage to Henry G. Wright at Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She with her family came to Roger Mills County in 1903 and settled in the old Rankin Communith which is now Reydon. She was one of Western Oklahoma;s pioneers and had been a member off the Reydon Baptist church for many years. She was a charter member of the Reydon Rebekah lodge. Survivors are four daughters: Mrs. Elsie Boone of Devine, Texas, Mrs. Flora King of Reydon, Mrs. Stella Airington of Duncan, Oklahoma, one son, H.J. Wright of Reydon, seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lon Terhune of Healdton, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lee Rouse of Crescent, Oklahoma, Mrs. Zola Ryland of Crescent, Oklahoma; four borhter,s Robert Vincent of Arnett, Oklahoma, Ed Vincent of Reydon, Harry Vincent, Crescent, Oklahoma, Clyde Vincent of oklahoma City. Many other relatives and a host of friends. Her husband, 1 daughgter and three sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday July 6, 1960 at 2:30 p.m by the pastor Rev. Charlie Shaw assisted by Rev. Harold Trask of Sayre. Interment in White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by the side of her husband. Pall bearers were grandsons and a grandnephew, Paige Boone, Billy G. Hooper, Rodney Airington, Jimmy Edwards, Kenneth Lee King and Ray Clay. Flower girls were granddaughters and grand nieces. Miss Patsy Ruth Wright, Mrs. Billie G. Hooper, Mrs. Paige Boone, Mrs. Robert Russett, Mrs. Billy Burns, Miss Maybedde Wright, Mrs. Pascal Pennington, Miss Peggy Thomas, Miss Gloria Faye Estes and Mrs. Ray Clay. George was born December 25, 1870 in Grayson county, Texas and passed away Thursday June 9, 1960 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Allie Patton of Centralis, Illinois. She was 89 years, 5 months and 15 days old. She was united in marriage to Allen S. Woodworth, May 19, 1885, at Burlington, Texas. To this union seven children were born. Three sons, husband, and parents, two sisters, and three brothers preceded her in death. Survivors are two sons, Alvin C. Woodworth of Tucson, Arizona and Robert F. Woodworth of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Callie Smith of Raton, New Mexico and Allie Patton of Centralia, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Hanna, Las Cruces, New Mexico and Mrs. ora Oldham, Enid, thirteen grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Sonn after her marriage in 1887 they moved to Indian Territory in the ardmore area where they faarmed and ranched. In 1928 they moved to Borger, Texas where he worked two years, before they moved to Reydon in 1930. From 1935 to 1941, they lived at Berlin where Mr. Woodworth passed away in 1940. Mrs. Woodworth spent the remainder of her life at Reydon until the last year when she was with her daugthter, Allie Patton in Centralia, Illinois. Her other daughter Callie Smith, was with her the last three weeks to help care for her. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved by all who knew her. She obeyed the gospel early in life and remained a faithful Christian. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 14, 1960 at the Community building in Reydon with John H. Spurlin, her pastor, officiating. Burial was in the White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by the side of her husband. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok

Horace Woodard was born November 22, 1886 in Powell, Missouri, and passed away January 6, 1958 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma, after a lingering illness, at the age of 71 yearsx, one month and 14 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Edna Magee, July 7, 1909 at Powell, Mo. They moved to Tucumcari, New Mexico, where they lived until 1914. Then they moved to western Oklahoma and settled near Putman. He was ordained to the ministry at Pureto, New Mexico in 1911, and served as Associational Missionary of Mills Association for six years, holding revivals in many school houses and churches. He was truly a pioneer preacher and it was never to hot or to cold for him to answer the call of service. He conducted funerals all over western Oklahoma for 40 years, never refusing because of the weather or illness. He was well and favorably known over this association, and loved by many who were married by Rro. Woodard or converted in his ministry. He remembered many touching and amusing incidents connected with his work in the Lord's service. They moved to Reydon in 1937 where he resided until his death. He was pastor of the Reydon Churc h for seven years, and wa a member of the Baptist Church until his passing. Funeral services were held in the Community building at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 1958, with Rev. Lynn Heard officiating, assisted by Rev. W. S. Little of the Methodist church. Interment was in the White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Moore Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Woodard of the home address; and three daughters, Mrs. Donald Stetler, Yolahoma, Japan; Mrs. Ivan Smith, Lomits, California, and Mrs. Filmore Moisio of Westminister, California; one son, lester Woodard, Sunnyvale, California, and eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. M.M. Shipley, Tucumcari, New Mexico and two brothers, E.C. Woodard, Glendale, California, and J.L. Woodard, San Bernardino, Claifornia. Other relatives and a host of frienda also survive. Vincent who before her marriage was Mary Ewilda Scott, was born February 24, 1874 at Jewett, Texas, and passed away in an Elk City hospital, May 17, 1959. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Scott. At an early age she united with the Baptist Church. She married J.E. Vincent on March 10, 1894, at Weatherford, Texas. To this union were born eight children. In 1911 she moved with her husband and family to Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Her husband preceded her in death on April 25, 1951. One son, Clarence, May 6, 1959, and a foster son, Robert Vincent Burns in May, 1951. Her survivors are four daughters and three sons. They are: Mrs. E.B. Overstreet and Mrs. Ed Sartin, Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. P.M. Bailey, Portales, New Mexico; Mrs. Vern Kendall, Sayre; J. Scott Vincent and Frank Vincent, Cheyenne; and Marvin Vincent, Elk City. There are also 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. D.H. Arnold, Clovis, New Mexico, and Mrs. W.L. Sipple, Marshall, Texas. Other survivors are many nieces and nephews. The following ia a tribute to the memory of Mrs. J.E. Vincent. For three score years and more Mother gaave of herself unstintingly, gave her love, service and devotion to her family. Her delight was in her home, her children and her children's children. Today, our tears are grateful ters, because God let us have her so long. Precious memories of her love and her loyalty come as a solace for our grief. Mr. Vincent died Wednesday, May 6, 1959 at a hospital in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Although he had been in the hospital only a short time, his illness covered a period of years. Early this year he sold his business in Cheyenne and went to New Mexico hoping to regain his health. Clarence Edwin Vincent was born September 18, 1904 at Weatherford, Texas, and departed this life at Truth or Consequence, New Mexico, May 6, 1959. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Vincent. His father preceded him in death. In 1911 he came with his parents and their family to Roger Mills County. He was graduated from the Strong City High School and soon thereafter he went to San Angelo, Texas, with his brother, Scott. In San Angelo he met and married Miss Pauline Hale. A few years later, he and his family moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma where he entered business. He owned and operated the John Deere Implement business until February of this year. He is survived by his wife, Pauline; three children, a son, Clarence Lee, two daughters, Wilda Jean and Jan, and eight grandchildren, Darla Jean Gillette, Lavena, Vernon, Ralph, Theresa and Leann Vincent, and Jack Wesley, Teddye Carol and Shari Jean Jones. Also surviving him is his mother, Mrs. J.E. Vincent, Elk City, and three brothers and four sisters, J. Scott and Frank, both of Cheyenne, Marvin of Elk City, Mrs. E.B. Overstreet and Mrs. Ed Sartin, both of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. P.M. Bailey, Portales, New Mexico and Mrs. Vernon Kendall, Sayre. He was a dedicated and faithful member and trustee of the First Baptist church of Cheyenne for many years. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. She was converted about 25 years ago and about 13 years ago she united with the Pentecostal Holliness church and has remained a faithful member. Her father and one grandson preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, two children, Aleene Sizemore and Charles of San Diego, California; one step-son Lester of San Diego, California, three grandchildren, Charles William and Bobbie Gene Townsend and Sheena Kay Sizemore; her mother, Mrs. Kizzie Archer; four brothers, Jake, Earl, Willie, and J.C.; one sister, Mrs. Edith Andrews and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
