Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Della May Giffey, Pampa, Texas, Mrs. Eula M. Hayden, Gallup, New Mexico; five sons Arthur of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Otis of Springfield, Colorado, James and Kenneth both of Elk City, Louis of Wamego, Kansas; a brother, Albert Kelley; one grandson, Kenneth Bonner, whom she and her husband rared since an infant; 23 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. The autopsy performed by an Oklahoma City physician showed that the cause of death was oviously very rfecent coronary thrombosis. Mr. Armstrong had suffered previous heart attcks which had healed. She is survivewd by a sister, Mrs. Pearl Fender of Sulphur, a brother, Charlie Mallett of San Deigo, California, a half-brother, Billie Mallet of Oakland, California, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Goldie Yowell of Reydon, oen grandson and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Yowell of Reydon, a great grandson, Jimmie Lee Yowell of Reydon; two nieces, and other relatives and many friends. He was born and reared in the Reydon community and attended the Reydon school. He was associated with his father for many years in the grocery business and in later years was owner and operated the store from 1932. On December 24, 1928 he was united in marriage to Goldie Dotson at Anadarko, Oklahoma and to this union one son was born. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Goldie Yowell of the home address one son, William Dean Yowell and wife Edith of Reydon, one grandson, immie Lee, his mother, Mrs. Verna Yowell, many other relatives and a host of friends. His father, the late Guy Albert Yowell preceded him in death September 27, 1955. Le was industrious, dependabled and lived an uprightg, clean and rightous life. He was one of the leading business men of Reydon until his recent illness. He was quiet, unassuming and loved his home and family, a devoted father and neighbor to all his friends. He was always willing to hlep in any worth cause. He always was patient in business and his lillness. Lee will be greatly missed by his loved ones and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, March 9, 1959 at 2:30 p.m. in the Reydon community building with Rev. Charles Simpson, Methodist pastor of McAlester, officiating, and Rev. She departed this life December 16, 1958 at the Cheyenne Convalescent hospital at the age of 81 years and 8 days. She came to Roger Mills County from Love County, Oklahoma in 1921 and had resided in and around Cheyenne since that time. She was a member of the Church of Christ for many years. With her passing she leaves two daughters, Lillie Pederson, Big Timber, Montana; and Ardie Wright, Crawford; three sons, Claude Brown of Big Timer, Montana, Hester Brown of Wello, Texas, and Floyd Brown of Pampa, Texas; one sister, Mrs.Evie Meeks of Boulder, Colorado, a number of grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 14 children and two husbands preceded her in death. Interment in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
