Born September 12, 1879 in Nebraska she moved with her parents to Hood county, Texas and in 1892 moved to the Berlin community. She was married August 29, 1897 to Seth Millington at Berlin were she has resided since. She has been a member of the WSCS, Berlin Home Demostration club and the Community club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one daughter, ten brothers, two sisters and one grandchild. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Goddard, Bethany, Mrs. Christine Goodwin, Mrs. Beatrice Bales, both of Sayre; four sons, Ira of Edmond, Chester and Winston both of Sayre, Woodrow of Southeaton, Mass.; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lydia Hay, Cheyenne. To this union five children were born. Survivng besides the whife are fice children, Alice Cartwright, Odessa, Texas, Lillie Quinn, Oklahoma City, Eva Stuart, Oklahoam City and one son Bob of Durham, Oklahoma. Seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a great number of friends. An infant daughter preceded him in death. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He had resided in Roger Mills County until his passing October 8, 1965 at the age of 93 years 9 months and 3 days. Funeral services were conducted at the Durham community building with Leland Burch officiating. Committal was at the Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mr. King came to Oklahoam in 1890 and homesteaded in Roger Mills county on the Croton Creek Bar Z Ranch where he resided until moving to Elk City in 1953. He was active in the pioneer development of Roger Mills County, having served on the Board of Education and Election Board at Rankin, Oklahoma for some twenty years. He was active in early day school consolidation to provide improved educational opportunity. A log house was built on the Ranch site and Mr. King hauled luber for the present ranch home where his deaughter and husband now reside, from Mountain View, Oklahoma. Mr. King was united in marriage to Faith Mabel Phillips, December 1, 1907 at her mother's homestead, Dempsey, Oklahoma. He leaves his wife, Mabel, of the home address, one son William Wallace King of Lawndale, California, four daughters, Mrs. Bonnie R. Douglas of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Mrs. Clara R. Davis of Reydon, Oklahoma, Mrs. Naomi M. Johnson of Overbrook, Oklahoma, Mrs. Rhea L. Douglas of Tulsa, Oklahoma. One son, James L. King, preceded him in death. Memorial services were held in California last Saturdcxay for Mr. Ivy for his many friends and family who live there. He leaves to mourn , his 9 children: Mrs. Jelia Gillette, and H.N. Lance Elvan Harrel was born the olldes child of George W. and Luzettaa Harrel at Chickasha, on September 27, 1891 and passed away in Shattuck hospital July 10, 1965, at the age of 73 years 10 months and 3 days. Whie a small boy, he moved with his parents to Cloud Chief, Oklahoma where they lived until he was 11 years old. They moved to Old Day County near the place where the Ioland community grew. He atteneded Ioland school and grew to manhood in that community. Lance was bpatized into the Nazarene church and later became a member of the Baptist church of Leedey. On September 7, 1913, he was united in marriage to Clara Lillian McDonald. Eight children were born to this happy union. Sonn after his marriage, Mr. Harrel moved to Roger Mills county to the bend of the South Canadian river, where the Canadian school later was formed. He lived the remainder of his life in that area. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Ray; his little 5-year old daughter, Myrlte Pauline; his son, Lawrence, age 38 and two infant children. Lance leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved wife, Clara ofd the home; three sons, Lance, Jr. of Firebaugh, California, and Donald and Jackie of Leedey; hisw daughter, Oleta Haney of Leedey, 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He also leaves four brotrhers: Henry, George and Hugh of Leede4y, and James of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Lily Harbour of Ontario, California, Mrs. Hazel Lovett of Cheyenne and Mrs. Dolliw McKay of Leedey; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and a host of friends.
