I found some of my ancestors on the census in 1910 in Antlers, Pushmataha County and decided to take a trip to Antlers to locate more information on them in the local courthouse. I was not able to find them on the 1920 census and thought that perhaps the personal property tax records would show me how long they were in the area but when I got to Pushmataha County Court house I was told they only keep those records for 10 years and they had offer them to the Genealogical Society but they were not interested in them and that they were probably thrown in a dumpster. Can anyone offer me anyother suggestions for Pushmataha Research?
