Searching for information on ggrandfather Pickens York, Miss.Choctaw # 505, died in 1926 and was buried in Marlow, Ok.........He had family in So. McAlester I.T. during 1896-1905, maybe longer but these dates are difinate. I don't know how to obtain census card # on him to open his packet. I don't even know where to start. Did get packet on Lillie York CBB # 12848 ( 10 Yrs old in 1903) whom my ggrandfather had inherited land from and I don't know what relation she was to him. She was raised by grandmother Mina York CBB # 12847 (80yrs old in 1903), her parents was Charley & Nicey York. Grandfather was Tom and had a brother John. Others in this family are CBB on the rolls: Sampson (uncle) # 12842, Sebian # 12843, Levi # 12844, Rosa # 12845, Minnie # 12846. I received a card # 4546 for these but the archive said it showed a Davis family......There wasn't much info. in the packet it dealt mainly with Lillie having two roll #'s and the commission was taking one. If one has tribal enrollment #'s does this go more into information on them from the archives? Mina and Lillie had tribal enrollment #'s (Tobusky) in this packet.
