She and her husband, Wilford Alansom Oliphint, were in Pontotoc County as early as 1902 and she died there in 1964. Her sons were: Vernie Robert, V.H., Druie Daniel, Dubber, and Curtis. Her daughters were: Essie Selena Parker, Leota Tittle Cook, Lura Simpson, Edwena Hudson, Zera Landreth, and Edna Young.
