He was originally from Adair and Cumberland Counties in KY (Born abt. 1880). He married Julia Ann (Teel) in Cumberland County, KY (1899). At some time most, if not all, of Julia's family (including a brother, Luther or Luke) moved to Ada,Pontotoc, OK. I am told that Burly and Julia lived in Ada for some time, although all of their children lived in and around Burksville, Cumberland, KY. After Julia died in KY in 1941, I am told that Burly was driven by one of his daughters, Beulah Bunch, to Ada, Pontotoc,OK, where he died. I have also been told that the Teels still live in the Ada, OK area. I have photos of Julia, Burly and his brother, Elmon, and Luther Teel (and family).
