I believe it was called East Central State Teachers College.

In 1940-1941 I attended 1st Grade at HORACE MANN SCHOOL, located at EAST CENTRAL STATE COLLEGE. The director of the HORACE MANN SCHOOL during that period was T.K. TREADWELL. Mr. J.W.ZIMMERMAN was another director during those days. My report card was signed by HUDIE L. NORTHCUTT.
