The area referred to as Pecan Grove is the valley just south of the Robert S. Kerr Lab. From the overlook at the lab, looking south and southeast, that valley is Pecan Grove, at least for a mile or so. If you are not familiar with the lab, Pecan Grove stretches about a mile either side of County Road 158 from the hill just west of Kerr Lab Road, across Clear Boggy Creek to State Highway 99. Others will have a different definition of Pecan Grove, but that is mine!
