You should start with the 1920 Federal Census where they were living at that time. This will give you information as to where each person in the household was born, how long they have been married, age, relationship to head of house, whether they owned or rented their house. If they owned, you can check County Courthouse for deeds, ect. Work backwards from the 1920 to earlier time using census records which are still taken every ten years since 1790. Check witht the Oklahoma State Historical Society in Oklahoma City about the possibility of an enrollment packet for the surname Witcher. If there is one, you will find worlds of information in it. I believe the research fee is $20.00 now, plus the cost of copies. Good Luck in your search. Billieee
