I have recently met a man who knows that his grandparents are buried at West Hill and remembers visiting the graves many times as a child. As most of you know, I have been disturbed about West Hill. It is out in a pasture and all of the tombstones are knocked down and cows have trampled it. I have attempted to set the tombstones back up, but they just end up knocked over again. The man that I met states that there are several graves outside of the "fenced in area". Many are graves of Choctaws. Just wanted to let you know that we have contacted the Choctaw Tribe and they are going to go out there and use some kind of sonography equipment to identify the actual places of the graves and then they will place a GOOD FENCE around the outside parameter of all of the graves.
