    2. I remember this too I use to have a picture of it. Seems to me the story goes they were horse theives and were caught.They were hung where Rhynes furniture store is now on Main Street. I remember the book you are talking about. The ada public libary use to have a copy.I can remember this story because My grandfather was there at the hanging. He later became sheriff of Pontotoc county. Well anyways I hope that helped.
