There is a book that was published about the "hangings". I can't help you out with the name of it, but the Pontotoc County Library might be able to provide that information. Either that or the Genealogical Society. I remember hearing my Grandfather talk about how they hanged 4 guys at the same time in Ada. He was a boy at the time and wanted "to go down to the barn to see it" but his mom wouldn't let him go. Sounds grusome to me. Just a kids curiosity trying to get the best of him, I guess.
