    3. Hello Rebecca: I have a copy of "The Early History of Ada" by: J. Hugh Biles that was published by the Oklahoma State Bank of Ada, Oklahoma - 1954. The hanging you mention is pictured on page 133....captioned as follows: Lynching, April 19, 1909, of suspects in the murder of A. A. (Gus) Bobbitt, L. to r.: Jim Miller, Joe Allen, B. B. Burwell, Jesse West. The barn, site of the lynching was formerly owned by J. D. (Doc) Huddleston, uncle of H. J. Huddleston, and was located at 117-19 N. Townsend. (Courtesy Ross Tipton.) Note: The picture shows all four men hanging from the rafters, a white horse eating something on the ground.....numerous people, including adults and children alike peering inside through the cracks in the wall. I bought my book from a local bookstore on West 12th Street there in Ada a few years back....it had penciled in "2nd Ed. 3L6 $75.00 Okla" If I were computer literate I would be delighted to scan the picture and forward it, but, I don't have the foggiest on how to do that. HELP!!!!!!! Check out my website www.earljones.net and see if we might have links in our families. Earl L.
